Our Story

From Hobby to Leading
MG Restoration Specialist

Horam Classic Restorations Ltd, known as HCR of Horam, is owned and run by Mark Gessey. What began in 1992 as a hobby — a love of classic MGs and the craft of restoring them — has developed into one of the UK's most respected MGB restoration businesses.

Mark personally welcomes visitors to the workshop in Horam, East Sussex, where you can view MGs currently for sale or check on the progress of your own restoration project. Please contact us first to arrange an appointment — all are very welcome.

The quality of HCR's workmanship is what sets them apart — and on several occasions their work has been the subject of major articles in MG World magazine (June/July 2002 and August/September 2002).

Mark Gessey begins restoring MGs as a hobby from his workshop in Horam, East Sussex.
